Ali Abbas made his first foray into the Pakistani television industry as a producer for the Style 360 channel. Later, he became a program manager. Debuted as an actor in 2013. In 2014, she appeared in the TV series “Ladoon Mein Palli” broadcast by Geo Entertainment. He played the role of Irfaan in the show and his performance was highly appreciated by the audience. The play is directed by his father Wasim Abbas.

- In an interview, he revealed that his father did not want him to become an actor but wanted Ali Abbas to pass the Central Senior Services (CSS) exam. In the same interview, he revealed that he did not get any help from his parents when he was trying to make a name for himself in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Speaking about this in an interview, he said,
To me, this is a curse because my dad explicitly told me not to expect any kind of support from him, and he kept his word…no testimonials; no marketing gimmicks. “
