Alina started her anchoring career in 2004 by hosting the children’s program “Butterfly” on Asianet. She won the Best Anchor Award at the Kerala State Television Awards (2005) for the show. Later, she hosted several children’s shows. Alina has also worked as an anchor at Kiran TV, Surya TV and Asianet Plus. In 2012, she took three years off from school to concentrate on her studies.

In 2016, she made her acting debut in the Malayalam TV series Bharya, where she played the role of ‘Nayna’. She then co-hosted the celebrity reality show “Aarpo Irro”.
