When Rachel Boston isn’t winning the hearts of viewers in the latest Hallmark movie, she’s probably at home with those who have hers.
She and chef Tolya Ashe got engaged in 2021, and a year later they had a daughter, Grace.
Soon after, Boston returned to the Hallmark Channel set Dates with the Delaneyswhere she was joined by mom and baby Grace.
“It was so wonderful, to know that my daughter is so loved and so cared for. It feels so good to me,” she told PEOPLE in 2022. “Then, shooting a movie every day, where I’m going to shoot and my mother is in the movie he comes to check on my daughter, who is with my real mother, and to check on me, [is special]. … We all look out for each other.”

She got engaged to Ashe in 2021

Boston announced her engagement to Ashe — a private chef — in an Instagram post on June 15, 2021.
“My eternal love ❤️❤️❤️,” she captioned a romantic photo of the couple, adding simply “engaged” as their location.
Boston previously revealed that she and Ashe were first introduced by one of his sisters in 2010.
“We actually had a classic Hallmark opening where you’ve known each other for a long time, the family is involved,” she said during a joint appearance on Home and family in December 2020, before saying they didn’t start dating right away. “But then we reconnected and it was divine timing.”
They welcomed their daughter in 2022

Boston shared the happy news of her pregnancy on Instagram in October 2021.
“It’s a girl!!!! 💗💗💗 Thank you for choosing me to be your mom,” she wrote alongside a stunning photo of herself stroking her baby bump as the sun sets in the background. “I am so excited for our journey ahead and can’t wait to show you this beautiful world! You are the light on this earth. I can already see and feel it. 💗.”
She and Ashe welcomed their daughter Grace on January 14, 2022.
Boston announced the baby girl’s arrival on Facebook, writing: “Welcome to the world my little angel!!!! 💗💗💗 Baby Grace is here and our hearts are so full!!! Thank you to everyone who surrounds us with so much love. 💓💓💓 #nevjerojatnamilost #2022 #dobrodošaokući.”

Over the years, Boston has shared sweet pictures of Grace, including the little girl visiting her on the set of the Hallmark movie in July 2022. Along with the photo, the caring mom shared how she felt in that moment.
“This smile!!! My favorite person came to see me at work,” she wrote. “Being a new mom while playing mom is an amazing feeling. Thanks to our producers and crew and the entire @hallmarkchannel team for supporting women and working mothers and @paulcampbellofficial for all the dad jokes.”
In August 2022, Boston spoke to PEOPLE about playing a mother on screen for the first time since becoming a mom in real life.
“It’s so interesting to think about how differently I would play certain aspects of new motherhood,” she said. “It’s really exciting to be able to claim motherhood and to be able to tell these stories now with such understanding.”
Boston was also joined by another special woman on set: her own mother, who brings together three generations of women in her real life at her workplace.
