Kate Walsh, best known for her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy, looks a lot like Catherine Deneuve, the French actress. There is no clear connection between the two. However, both actresses are similar in appearance. Despite the fact that the two are nearly 24 years apart in age, people can’t help but wonder if Deneuve was Walsh when she was younger.
People often use Twitter to vent their frustrations. Grey’s Anatomy fans have also noticed the resemblance between the actresses. Even the show couldn’t help but joke about their uncanny resemblance. Walsh’s character, Dr. Montgomery, is compared to Deneuve by the patient’s husband in Season 2, Episode 20 of the series.
Some have even compared Walsh to the long-lost child of the French actress. Others couldn’t help but imagine that the two actresses were the same person and that they were vampires. The similarity stuns most people. Some people don’t like it, though.

The 53-year-old herself noticed the similarity between them. Walsh began posting pictures of her crush on Twitter in June 2017, using the hashtag #WCW. It was Deneuve who did it. Fans couldn’t help but notice their resemblance in the comments below the tweet. While most fans referred to the Grey’s Anatomy episode, some referred to them as twins.

Walsh praised Deneuve in March 2019, in honor of Women’s History Month. She posted a photo of Deneuve and a description of the actress on Instagram. She called the French actress her crush and expressed her admiration.

The two actresses may share more than just facial similarities. Both worked as models. Walsh worked as a model in Japan in the 1980s before becoming an actor. Deneuve was the face of Chanel No. 5 in the late 1970s and appeared in two Playboy shoots. She has also been the face of L’Oréal Paris and Louis Vuitton luggage, among other brands.
Both actresses seem to be interested in perfumes, beauty and fashion. In 1986, Deneuve released a fragrance called Deneuve, which she named after herself. In 2010, Walsh founded Boyfriend LLC, a beauty and lifestyle company. Boyfriend, her first product, was a perfume.
Both are involved in charity and social work. From 1994 to 2003, Deneuve was a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. She volunteered for AIDS and Cancer Research and Children Action, Children of Africa and Reporters Without Borders.
Since 2007, Walsh has worked as a spokesperson for the Narcolepsy Network to raise awareness about narcolepsy. She is also a vocal supporter of pet adoption. Not only that, but in 2009, the actress teamed up with Oceana, an ocean conservation and advocacy organization, to promote sea turtle conservation.
