Lamar Jackson has been a professional football player since 2018, but in 2021 he added a new title to his resume: father.
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Milan Jackson’s daughter, 3, was born on January 4, 2021, but he’s kept most of the details of her life under wraps, only sharing small moments of his little girl on social media.
Jackson may be private, but he’s a proud dad, beaming when reporters asked him about his daughter’s 2021 Halloween costume.
From celebrating her first birthday to her extended family, here’s everything you need to know about Lamar Jackson’s daughter.

Jackson welcomed his daughter on January 4, 2021, but has not publicly announced it. He kept the news under wraps for months and never publicly announced or confirmed the identity of the mother of his child.
Jackson first revealed he had a daughter after Halloween
Football fans were shocked to learn Jackson has a 9-month-old daughter when he put Milan on his Halloween Instagram Story dressed as Pebbles from The Flintstones.
When a reporter asked Jackson about his daughter after the game a few days later and called her “Lani,” the quarterback corrected him and said her name was Milan.
“His name is Milan,” he said. “I just call her Lani.”
The reporter then asked what the baby was wearing, to which Jackson replied, “Pebble from The Flintstones. Did you like it? Does it look good?”
The NFL player joked that the girl was still at the game with him that day, even though he kept her away from the cameras.

When it was Milan’s first birthday in January 2022, the proud father posted photos of her on his Instagram Story, including one of her with some food on her face while giggling at the camera.
“🤣🤣Happy first girl’s day mom,” Jackson captioned the photo.
He added another picture of Milan playing in the snow, all wrapped up in a white Moncler snow suit. However, the little girl didn’t look that amused.
“She doesn’t mess with a cold 🤣,” Jackson wrote.
When a fan posted pictures on his X account, showing Jackson’s daughter, a professional football player reposted the messageadding two purple hearts.

Jackson has spoken at length about his love and gratitude for his mother, Felicia Jones, who has raised him as a single parent since his father and grandmother died on the same day when he was 8 years old.
“If she can do it, I can do anything,” he once said at a press conference, adding: “This woman is a superhero for me.”
Jones was also Jackson’s first coach — and his best, he said.

“A lot of people helped me get better when I was young, but the best coach I ever had was my first coach: my mom,” he wrote in an essay for The Players’ Tribune. “And I’m not just saying that because she looked after me and encouraged me to play football and all that stuff. I mean, she actually made me try to be better.”
Now, Jones has a new child to focus on without any of the pressure of parenthood: her grandson Milan.
He has two aunts and one uncle
In addition to a caring grandmother, Milan also has two aunts and an uncle from Jackson’s side of the family. Although Jackson’s sisters have chosen to remain private and their names have not been released, Jackson’s brother, Jamar, had a sweet moment with his big brother when he sent Jackson a touching message before he was drafted in 2018.
“Ever since we were younger, I always knew you were special, I just didn’t know how important it was from when we were playing outside to when you jumped over my head in the backyard,” Jamar said in a pre-draft video. “From when we were younger to high school playing with each other, I always loved you. You make my life special. I wouldn’t know what I would do without you.”

A year after it was first revealed that Jackson had become a father, he posted a second baby girl on his Instagram Story, leading fans to think he was announcing that he was having another child.
However, Milan has yet to be a big sister on Jackson’s side, and the Ravens player was quick to put the rumors to rest.
“Everybody back off it’s my god daughter but thank you lol,” he said wrote on X.
