Altamash Faridi has participated in several singing competitions and has lent his voice to many Bollywood songs. In 2009, he won the Doordarshan music reality show “Close-Up Performer” and received the award and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. He also signed a singing contract worth Rs 10 lakh with Rajshri Production.

Altamash continued to showcase his talent in the music industry by participating in various singing competitions such as StarPlus’ “Music Ka Maha Muqabla” (2010) and Zee TV’s “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar” (2010). He has lent his voice to several Bollywood songs such as “Babbe Mast” in the 2013 film What The Fish, “Sajna Ve Sajna Ve” in Mickey Virus (2013) and “Tumko” in Jai Ho To Aana Hi Tha” (2014)” starring Armaan Malik.
In 2015, Altamash collaborated with other singers like Shadab Faridi and Shashi Suman to sing the song “Aaj Ibaadat” for the movie “Bajirao Mastani”.

In 2020, Altamash released the song “Baras Baras” with singers B Prank, Bhumi Pednekar and in 2021 “Subhan Allah” with Rashami Desai and Monis Khan.
