Food for thought takes things in a new direction for Brown and his fans. While still focused on food, the collection of essays will also explore curiosities and comedy, and how these themes entered Brown’s life. He will discuss his childhood and family, as well as the trajectory of his long and famous career on culinary television. In 2019, Brown openly told PEOPLE about his show Good Food: The Return and his marriage to his wife Elizabeth Ingram. “Before, I was only worth what I was working on at any given time,” he said at the time. “Now I think I like it better.”
