Amanda Holden has broken her silence on statements about the argument between her and This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby.
Take to Instagram on Thursday morning, Britain has talent The judge denied reports of a dispute, citing an article in The Sun that spoke of a “severe rivalry” between the two ITV stars.
She began: “Today’s story in The Sun about Holly and I is completely fabricated, full of contradictions and completely meaningless. Unfortunately, that means every other newspaper will write it too. So I had to pause this for a few hours to try and add perspective and facts.

“Unfortunately, strong and intelligent women have been pitted against each other for so long when we should all be celebrated in our own way. It’s surprising that the article was written by ONE. MAN.
“The ‘rift’ story that’s currently going viral as a result of this article – which I woke up to this morning and hasn’t fact-checked – simply doesn’t exist. Some big assumptions have been made this week. and everyone loves them.

“Articles like this need to stop. The language around women (in most of the articles I read every day) is ridiculous. It’s so different from the way men are written. Women are still allowed. supposed to say nothing, suffer silently and just get on with it. And we do it… mostly.”
Amanda Holden appeared to mock Holly Willoughby in a statement This Morning in an Instagram video
She ended her post by saying, “These stories are just there to distract us from the real news… We’re becoming a world that is slowly eroding all of the good news. its best qualities – humour, backbone and truth.”
Amanda’s post comes after she appeared to mock Holly’s statement on her return This morning. Holly gave an emotional speech to viewers of the show on Monday, addressing the recent controversy surrounding her former co-host Phillip Schofield.

“Okay, take a deep breath,” the host said as she opened the show, before asking the audience: “First, are you okay? I hope you’re okay.”
On Tuesday, Amanda shared a video on her Instagram stories mocking Holly’s statement. Wearing a white jumpsuit similar to the one Holly wore on the ITV show, Amanda said: “Hi, it’s Tuesday, how are you?” before we continue discussing her outfit.
