More than 35 million copies of Krenz’s novels were printed. She created the futuristic romance subgenre with Sweet Starfire and further expanded the boundaries of the genre in 1996 with Amaryllis, the first paranormal futuristic romantic suspense novel.
She is an outspoken advocate of the romantic genre and is the recipient of the Susan Kopelman Award for Feminist Studies.
