Amanda Seyfried gets real about her adolescent beauty mistakes.
In an interview with Glamor about the Lancôme x Louvre campaign, of which she is the face, Relegation star and Lancôme ambassador, 37, revealed a beauty she made when she was a teenager.
“I over-plucked my eyebrows incredibly in high school so they never grew back.” she said.

It’s safe to say that the Emmy-winning actress is hesitant to try new eyebrow tricks. When asked which beauty rule she found funniest, she answered: “Great eyebrow gluing.” Ouch.”
Seyfried is just one more celebrity to add to the list of stars who admit to their eyebrow-gone-wrong moments.
In a new interview with InStyle published this week, Charlize Theron admitted that she’s “still recovering from” her ’90s pencil-thin arches, which were at the height of their popularity at the time.

Kylie Jenner also had a near-disastrous encounter with bleach that left her with no eyebrows.
“I had to do this campaign shoot and they wanted bleached eyebrows, so [makeup artist] Ariel [Tejada]I think I left the bleach on too long and my brows fell out,” she said in a recent makeup tutorial for Vogue. “It’s okay because the thin eyebrows are there,” she comforted.

Jenner has a point. As much as A-listers rue the days of doing anything with their hair, there’s a whole group of stars who are just as willing to take risks, whether that means going for a pulled-in look or hitting their brows with highlighter.
Last fall, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Nicola Peltz, and Amelia Gray Hamlin (who at one point shaved off her set) attended Paris Fashion Week with blue brows while trending their perfectly platinum pairs. And in the summer of 2022, Doja Cat made the bold decision to cut them with a razor in real time while on an Instagram livestream.
“I love when you take something that’s maybe classically beautiful and you turn it around and make it your own,” Doja Cat later said Dazed. “For me, it’s more of a ‘are you happy?’ I want my fans to learn that they don’t have to be like anyone else and that what they want is already there.”
