American Airlines Passengers Save Woman from Alleged Violent Male Companion on Flight

A woman was rescued by passengers on a recent American Airlines flight from an alleged physical altercation with a male passenger.

The incident occurred during a flight from Miami to Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday, October 2.

In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by journalist Arjun Singh, who was on the flight, three men were seen leaning over the front two seats of the plane as they appeared to restrain a man sitting next to a woman on the plane. alleged quarrel.

“This evening there was a violent incident on my @AmericanAir flight AA 310 from Miami to Charlotte,” Singh wrote. “Several men jumped to tackle another man in first class, who had argued with the lady next to him. The flight landed 26 minutes early, but we’re not leaving anytime soon.”

In the video, one of the men helping the woman yells at the male passenger, “Don’t touch her anymore,” while another man says, “Don’t touch her! My dick hurts!”

“Get your fucking hands off her, now! If you touch her one more time, you’ll be fucking arrested, a——!” The first man shouts again.

“You fucked up, you’re not fucking touching her!” says the other man. The men then let go of the male passenger and one of them asked the woman sitting next to him, “Are you okay?” “Yes,” she replies. “But he thinks that because he is a man with brain disorders [inaudible].” The passengers then encourage the woman to move the seats, and she sits in the seat in the adjacent aisle.

“Now I was attacked,” says the male passenger. The woman retorts: “No, you were not attacked! I put my hand over your mouth to make you shut up.”

American Airlines responded in the comments section of the video: “Our first priority is the safety of our crew and our customers, and we take these matters very seriously.”

In another video released by Singh, an officer is seen talking to staff on the plane before asking passengers for witness statements.

American Airlines said in a statement, according to New York Postthat two passengers “argued” and were “walked” off the plane after landing in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.

It is not known if the man has been arrested.
