Calling all 80s and 90s kids: your dream Halloween costumes are here!
American Girl recently released its annual Halloween costumes — and this year, adults can dress up as their favorite dolls, too.
Last week, the brand took to Instagram to announce the launch of its new Halloween costumes for American Girl dolls, which are available in both adult and children’s sizes.
“Dress up as your favorite AG characters this Halloween with costumes for kids and adults,” the brand wrote below a carousel of images of models wearing eight historic doll costumes.

Kirsten, Samantha and Molly are among the original American Girl characters released as dolls in 1986. The characters were initially drawn from periods of American history, but over time, more contemporary characters were introduced.
Costumes include recreations of the dolls’ full outfits (minus the shoes), but additional accessories — such as matching wigs for Kirsten, Kit, Molly, Samantha, Julie and Courtney — can be purchased.

Also available this year is an American Girl Doll Box Costume that can be added to any character outfit to complete the look and make Halloween fans look more like a doll in a box than a character.
The costumes — made by Rubies — are available for purchase at Target, Amazon and Costumes.com.
