‘America’s Got Talent’ Announces New ‘Fantasy League’ Spinoff — and Mel B Is Returning to Judge!

American talent spreads its wings with another exciting spinoff.

On Thursday, NBC announced its new series AGT: Fantasy Leaguewhose premiere is scheduled for 2024.

Singer-songwriter Mel B — who appeared in seasons 8-13 AGT and the 1st season AGT: Champions — will return as a judge alongside executive producer Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel.

As with the original series, Terry Crews will host.

‘America’s Got Talent’ Winners: Where Are They Now?

According to NBC, the judges will “each select a list of their favorite artists by choosing from winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favorites from American talent and He has talent franchises around the world, all pre-selected by America in an initial vote.”

For the first time in the show’s history, the judges will compete alongside the contestants and will “mentor and guide” the performers during the competition in hopes that their team’s performance will be crowned the champion.

The draft will include 40 acts, with each judge choosing 10. The audience will vote each week to decide which acts will advance to the finals.

As usual, the Golden Buzzer will send the performers straight to the finals. However, this time comes a new twist. Each judge will be able to use their Golden Buzzer for their own point or steal rank from another referee team.

Fantasy League will be co-produced by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment. Sam Donnelly and Jason Raff will executive produce alongside Cowell.
