An emotional reunion. A dying veteran gets his wish to see his beloved dog one last time

A 69-year-old veteran in the hospital wants to see his pet dog one last time.

The man’s name was John Vincent. He fought in Vietnam. The man has no relatives in New Mexico so no one is looking after the dog.

The man took the dog to an animal shelter to be cared for. The dog is a Yorkshire terrier. His name is Patch.

The dog at Albuquerque Animal Welfare. They were told that the old man wanted to see his dog one last time.

The shelter organized for the children to meet and this reunion was touching and emotional. Man and dog say goodbye to each other. This scene is so touching.

The veteran’s last wish has been fulfilled and it is a great honor for the family to bring the dog and make the veteran’s last wish come true. The dog is now adopted and has a permanent home.
