    To add a spoiler tag to a text message, you can follow the methods listed below:

    Method 1

    1. The easiest way to mark an SMS message or part of it as spoiler is to mark the text and click on the eye icon. This will mark the highlight as a spoiler.

    Method-2

    1. In the chat server, type ‘/spoiler’, followed by your message, then press ‘Enter’.

    Add spoilers to images or attachments on Discord

    Spoiler tags can also be applied to images or attachments that you submit to a Discord server. The above steps will not work in this case and you will be given the option to mark images or attachments as spoilers while uploading them.

    To add a spoiler tag to an image or attachment via the Discord website or desktop app:

    1. Drag and drop the file you want to send to the chat server or click the (+) sign next to the chat bar.
    2. You will see a preview of the attachment before sending it in the chat.
    3. You will see a “Mark as spoiler” checkbox to hide the image or attachment after sending, then click the “Upload” button.

    How to disable Spoiler Tag feature on Discord?

    If you are not afraid of spoilers and want to disable this feature, you can choose from several options:

    1. First, go to User Preferences > Text and Images

    Note- You can disable the spoiler tag feature only on the desktop/browser app. You cannot hide spoiler tags on Discord using your mobile.

    1. In the “Show spoiler content” section, you can control when spoiler content is displayed.
    • On Click: Will show the spoiler content only when you click on it.
    • On servers I moderate: You get a role with message handling enabled
    • Always – This will completely disable spoiler tags and display all content.
