Anaita Shroff Adajania is an Indian costume designer, fashion stylist and actress. She is currently the Fashion Director (as of 2021) of fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue India.

She attended Bombay International School in Mumbai and went on to St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai for her graduation. Anaita has been obsessed with fashion since she was a child. During college, she used to spend all her pocket money on magazines such as Vogue and Seventeen. She often cut fashion prints from magazines and pasted them into her folders. After graduation, Anita worked briefly with director and producer Mahesh Mathai. However, she didn’t enjoy the job and decided to travel for a break. While traveling, she often observed how people dressed. When she returned from vacation in London, she received a job offer from fashion magazine Elle.

Profession
As a costume designer and fashion stylist
Anaita began her career at Elle magazine in 1996 as an assistant fashion editor. She then worked for a while as a fashion editor at French magazine L’Officiel India. She then joined Vogue India as fashion director.
She is the founder and owner of the fashion styling company Style Cell Company. In 2001, she starred in the movie “Everybody Says I’m Good!” ” began to create celebrity looks for movies. She then gained huge popularity by styling John Abraham and Esha Deol in the Bollywood film Dhoom (2004).

Adjania is known for her design work in Bollywood films such as Being Cyrus (2006), Dhoom 2 (2006), Love Aaj Kal (2009), Cocktail (2012) ) and Bang Bang (2014) ).
