Anant Tyagi was born in New Delhi on Sunday, 23 November 1986 (age 34 years 2020). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. His hometown is Mumbai. His initial studies were completed in Delhi. When Anant was 11, his parents enrolled him in Doon School (boarding school) in Dehradun as they wanted him to balance academics and sports. While at school he was involved in sports such as hockey, tennis and track and field, and aspired to become a tennis player. After completing his studies, Anant went to Hindu College, Delhi University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Literature and Economics. He then went to Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi to pursue a master’s degree in mass communication. He later studied digital communications and multimedia at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He then worked as a business analyst at London gas company Centrica for about two years. Once, when Anant was having lunch with one of his friends, his friend suggested that he audition to be a Hindi commentator for ESPN-Star Sports. He auditioned and was offered a commentary position in the Premier League.
