The reports resurfaced in 2021 after The Hollywood Reporter revealed that two women who had never met had accused the The Equalizer star of sexually assaulting them. One of the women, who goes by the pen name Zoe, said she was raped in a Los Angeles apartment in 2004, while another woman, using the pen name Lily, testified that she had been assaulted. in his apartment in New York in 2015.

A third woman called on Friday. Using the pseudonym Ava, she told The Daily Beast the star assaulted her in a restaurant when she was 18. Singer-songwriter Lisa Gentile and screenwriter Zoe Lister-Jones also spoke about their experience with Chris, saying that he was “always sexually inappropriate” while working with him.

Chris denied the allegations in a statement that read: “The allegations against me by individuals I met years ago, even decades ago, are completely untrue. The stories that could have been 30 years ago or 30 days ago – doesn’t always mean not – that’s a line I haven’t crossed. It’s hard not to question the timing of these stories. I’m not sure why they’re showing up now, but I do know this: I didn’t attack these women.”

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon released a joint statement on the situation at the time, saying: “We are deeply saddened to hear of the allegations against Chris Noth.
