Andie MacDowell does not let go of his reins – especially when it comes to protecting his beloved character.
During the interviews of the people: Hallmark’s The way home Event on January 22, Actress 66, who plays Del Landry in the hit series, has opened on the unexpected challenges of watching the younger version of her character developed for the third season.
In the panel discussion led by the Executive editor of the TV -A event by Breanne L. Heldman on Wednesday, January 2nd, MacDowell noted that actress Julia Tomasone, 26, “makes a really good job of” portraying a teenager of her character, but admitted that she admitted That the Del’s youth process was thrown out in such details was “scary”.

From the Del Past, the present and the future on the line, MacDowell revealed that she had made a few proposals – and was grateful that he was heard by writers and producers.
“I am like that, wait a little,” she recalled, noting that writing made the young Del “spoiled”.
“And she has to say something about the farm,” she continued. “Because for me it was my character.”

Once the changes were made, MacDowell sighed with relief. “I was terrified because of some of those things that happened. “I made a very specific choice for Del, because I had to play two generations and I wanted people to believe that,” she said. “I made today’s del bolder, a little tighter, a little more rude. She lost her husband. She lost her son. And then I tried to make a voice easier when I returned in the 1990s.”
