Dick and Angel Strawbridge have shared news of an exciting overseas venture they’ll be embarking on in 2024, but the announcement has left some of their fans a little disappointed.
Taking to Instagram, the pair, who finished their Channel 4 program Escape the Chateau in November 2022, announced that they are taking their Dare to Do It tour to America and Canada next year for several dates in February and March.

“It’s been months in the planning and we’re excited to finally announce that we’re coming to America!! And Canada this February 2024 with our Dare To Do It Tour! The excitement is palpable and Arthur & Dorothy have already started packing!” they started in the title.

“The tour is like a dream come true for our family. We’ve met many of you who have been on our trip since day one, and in between we’ve seen places we never imagined!
“In the touring world, where concerts are often booked years in advance, February 2024 is literally around the corner. Being so close to the tour meant that many of our chosen locations were simply not available, so this will be a shorter tour, but that means we’ll just have to go back!”

Fans in the comments section noted the fact that Dick and Angel don’t have an extended trip abroad, and some were disappointed that their city of choice wasn’t listed on the bill.
One fan wrote: “New York, No New York???” as another said, “I hope you’ll consider coming back for another tour of America, the heartland next time.”

A third agreed: “Come to Florida please…” A fourth commented: “Please come to Dallas Texas. We were some of your first fans in America.”
However, before traveling to the United States, the family of four will return to home territory for a UK tour of London, Oxford, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Halifax, Birmingham, Manchester, Bournemouth and other venues. The UK tour starts in October and runs until November.

The parents heavily involve their two children, Arthur and Dorothy, in their renovation and gardening work, teaching them important skills for adulthood. Angel previously told HELLO!: “The best way for them to learn is on the job, so we try to get them involved in various projects from crafting, cooking and gardening. They love it – kids are like sponges and soak up all the experiences you give them…”
