Angel Strawbridge revealed the touching “quality time” she recently enjoyed with her daughter Dorothy in a sweet post shared on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Angel and her husband Dick shared with fans their plans for the weekend, which included Dick and Arthur spending a father-son day at the rugby while the girls stayed at home.

In the photo, Dick and his youngest son looked content as they watched sports. The caption read: “A big shout out to you on this slightly cooler glorious Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. Dick and Arthur traveled to Bordeaux to support Ireland playing rugby and have a ball while Dorothy and I looked after the Chateau and and had some wonderful quality time.”

“We’re delighted to announce that Cornwall tickets are now on sale – we’re really looking forward to seeing friends and family here on our ‘Forever Home’ tour!!”
Fans reacted to the post with their own wishes. One wrote: “Have a nice day everyone too, great picture!!” Another said: “Arthur is growing up fast, lovely young man,” while a third commented: “Great to see and hear about everyone.”
Angel spending quality time with her daughter is something that has always been important to the former Channel 4 regular. Interview with HELLO! back in March, Angel opened up about how special their relationship is: “Being a mom is everything to me and Dick and I always plan with Arthur and Dorothy in mind,” she explained.
“Like most parents, we want them to have the best start in life with good values, a positive outlook and to see the world as a place full of adventure and opportunity.”

She continued: “The best way for them to learn is on the job, so we try to get them involved in all kinds of projects from crafting, cooking and gardening. They love it – children are like sponges and soak up all the experiences you give them…”
Meanwhile, in addition to announcing their new tour and their busy weekends, the parents adjusted to their two children returning to school and celebrating Dick’s 64th birthday.

One photo shows Dick posing with his two youngest children with a delicious trinket made by their dad. “It was the first day…the first day in 64 years…the first time Arthur and Dorothy made trifle (Dick’s favorite)…and the first time they ate it! Thank you for all the lovely messages!” she wrote and added: “It’s an early night because tomorrow is the first day of school! We wish you a pleasant evening xxx.”
