Angelina Jolie and Sons Maddox and Pax Support Zahara at Spelman College Sorority Luncheon

Zahara Jolie-Pitt celebrated a special milestone with her family by her side!

Last week, the 18-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt joined Spelman College’s Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority — and her movie star mom and older brothers, Pax, 19, and Maddox, 22, were by her side.

The Mu Pi Chapter welcomed its new members, including Zahara, at a luncheon at The Whitley Hotel in Atlanta, and Jolie, 48, and her sons attended the event, according to a photo shared by a fan account dedicated to the actress.

In the video, Jolie, Pax and Maddox pose with several event-goers near a table decorated in AKA colors — green and pink.

On Xu (formerly known as Twitter), another Jolie fan account shared a sweet photo of Jolie, Zahara, Pax and Maddox posing together on the sophomore’s special day.

AKA member Tracey Royal also shared photos from the event on Instagram. In one of the photos, Jolie is holding Zahara’s hand as they pose with the group. In another shot, Zahara – in a white dress like the other new members – smiles for a selfie with Royal.

Jackie Walters, who spoke at the luncheon, also shared photos from the rally.

The Bravo star and founder of the 50 Shades of Pink Foundation, 65, posted a series of photos on Instagram, including several with Jolie.

“It was a great honor to share my heart and be the keynote speaker for Fall ’23. of the best @19sweetmupi79 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated; meet @angelinajolie, international president for @alphaphialpha, shake hands with some amazing sisters and hug others again,” Walters captioned her post.

Before lunch, Zahara introduced herself to her new sisters in a video she came across Essence.

In the clip, she emerges from the row of her new sisters to address the cheering crowd, saying, “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie,” as she swung her hair, which was met with loud cheers.

“AND [I] landed all the way from the Golden State to a city full of angels: Los Angeles, California,” she added.

Zahara began her undergraduate career at an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) last year, a milestone Jolie announced with a sweet snap on social media in July 2022.

Along with a photo of her daughter and some of her classmates dressed in Spelman blue, Evil star wrote: “Zahara with her Spelman sisters!”

“Congratulations to all the new students starting this year. A very special place and honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” Jolie added, ending with the hashtags “#spelman #spelmancollege #spelmansisters #HBCU.”
