But some fans were not satisfied with the result.

The rules stipulate that one performer advances to the live finals via public vote, while the other is granted passage to the finals by the judges.

On Monday night, ‘musician’ Sven Smith, dog performers The Trickstars, child street dancer Trey Braine and slapstick act Bikoon! everyone went on stage.

They were joined by Ukrainian roller duo Stardust, opera singer Innocent Masuku, singer Taryn Charles and the Ssaulabi Taekwondo troupe.

Innocent Masuku, Trickstars and Ssaulabi made it to the top three after voting was opened to the public.

South African hopeful Innocent Masukuk was declared the winner of the night based on the votes received, while the judges unanimously placed Ssaulabi through to Sunday night’s final.

The Trickstars canine actress was sent home.

But not all viewers were impressed with the outcome, wanting London-born singer and music teacher Taryn to go through.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one raged: “Erm Taryn has been robbed!”

Another added: “Shocked Taryn didn’t make the top 3.”

And a third exploded, “What? Those damn dogs over Taryn?”

There was also outrage that child star Trey Braine didn’t even get a place in Sunday night’s live finale.

“Can’t believe Trey Braine went home he was absolutely awesome and wanted him 2 win the show,” another fan complained.

The live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent take place at 8pm every night on ITV this week.

The show will take a break on Saturday night, before returning with a bang for the grand live finale on Sunday night.

Britain’s Got Talent biggest ‘fixes’ disputes

Britain’s Got Talent has struggled with “repairs” for years. How many of these do you remember?

Jasmine Elcock – 2016: Teenage singer Jasmine Elcock stunned the nation with her version of Cher’s Believe. But then it turned out that she had already performed professionally in London’s West End. Jasmine, 14, admitted: “I did Annie in the West End when I was about nine or 10, but I’m really nervous.”

IrShad Shaikh – 2017: BGT fans questioned the rulebook when IrShad Shaikh auditioned. He received four red signals from the referees, which would normally mean an instant exclusion. However, in a strange turn of events, they let him continue with his point… and put him in the next round.

Colin Thackery – 2019: Older war veteran Colin won BGT 2019, but there was an upset over the final. He fought his way to victory with a version of We’ll Meet Again, but fans were furious that escapologist Jonathan Goodwin wasn’t even ranked in the top three. Viewers felt Jonathan – who nearly suffocated while buried alive in a gravel pit – should have won.

Axel Blake – 2022: Comedian Axel Blake won the 2022 Golden Buzzer after making the judges laugh. But fans were furious when they discovered that Axel already had a gig on the worldwide streaming platform Amazon Prime. Despite this, Axel still won the series.

Loren Allred – 2022: The 2022 series of BGT was hit with another controversy when singer Loren Allred was also awarded the Golden Buzzer. She performed Never Enough from the hit musical film The Greatest Showman to a standing ovation. It later turned out that Loren was actually the original voice behind the song.

Taryn Charles – 2024: Singer Taryn Charles is one of this year’s hopefuls who were lucky enough to receive the Golden Buzzer. Bruno Tonilio took her straight to the semi-finals after her performance of Aretha Franklin’s (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman, but now it has emerged that she is no stranger to television. Viewers recognized Taryn from the ITV1 episode of Starstruck, where she played Whitney Houston for judges Olly Murs, Sheridan Smith, Adam Lambert and Beverley Knight.
