Aniket is an independent criminal lawyer and advocate before the Bombay High Court and Supreme Court of India. In 2014, he appeared before the Bombay High Court to file a bail plea for MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) promoter Jignesh Shah in a case related to the National Stock Exchange Ltd fraud case amounting to Rs 5,000. He has also been involved in high-profile cases including Adarsh housing scam and Jalgaon housing scam.
In 2016, he served as legal advisor to Naveen Aggarwal and Sachin Aggarwal, directors of Maple Group. They are allegedly cheating people by advertising 1BHK flats at just Rs 5. He successfully secured bail for both men. In 2017, he helped Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra secure anticipatory bail (a directive to release a person on bail, even before the person is arrested) in a due payment case.
