Dujana later formed an alliance with Naresh Bhatti’s gang. He started as a novice and worked his way up, engaging in robberies and extortions targeting wealthy individuals and businesses.

On March 24, 2004, Sundar Bhati’s gang murdered Naresh Bhati to avenge his electoral defeat and to incite Naresh Bhati’s brother Randeep and nephew Amit Kasana seek revenge. According to reports, Dujana was first implicated in a murder at Kavi Nagar police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad at the age of 22, and was later charged in 2002 on charges of fraud, attempt to murder and weapons violations. In January 2012, he was arrested for the triple murder and thereafter he continued to run his gang with the help of Randeep and Kasana. In the same year, he was arrested for the alleged murder of Muzaffarnagar businessman Sanjay Tyagi and lodged in Muzaffarnagar jail. Dujana was shifted to Banda jail in Uttar Pradesh in 2014 after her name emerged in the sensational murder case of BJP leader Vijay Pandit. Despite his criminal background, Anil Dujana enjoys strong support from his village and nearby communities. After serving three years in Banda jail, he was shifted to Maharajganj Central Prison in Uttar Pradesh on orders from the state government.
