Ant and Dec reveal reason Fred Sireix was fuming with Josie’s Bushtucker meal - in scenes that weren’t shown on camera

FRED Sirieix’s bad temper over Josie Gibson’s cooking may be more justified than some viewers know.

Ant and Dec often take to social media for a live stream after the main show, and revealed she did it for four hours.

Last night, Ant McPartlin, 48, decided to defend Fred Sirieix after he came under fire from fans for falling out with Josie Gibson.

Over the past few nights, the pair have clashed after the camp manager chose the This Morning star to prepare all the food.

After the show, the presenting duo participated in their Jungle Club interactive show on Instagram Live.

Ant decided to strongly defend the chef during the broadcast because he thought Josie was ‘not listening’.

“Let’s talk about Fred and Josie, I’d like to talk about, whose side are you on?

“But can I just say something? Josie isn’t listening to what he’s saying, because that tail took a long time to cook last night.

“Hell, a long time.”

The I’m A Celebrity couple then revealed that a lot more happened than viewers can tell, as the meal actually took a lot longer to prepare than shown on screen.

Declan Donnelly, 58, couldn’t help but chime in as he asked: “What was that about? Like three hours? Four hours?”

Ant continued, “Three hours, too long. That’s four hours [being told in my ear]. That was too long, if she had listened to Fred, she could have kept the bone and had it for tomorrow.

When Dec noted that many of the comments from viewers were on Josie’s side, Ant decided to defend his stance on the row.

“I’ll stick up for Fred for a second, I’d say he knows what he’s talking about.

But Ant replied: “He definitely knows what he’s talking about, I’ll give him that.

“However, he doesn’t stop talking about knowing what he’s talking about.”

Despite this, some fans think it’s time for the First Dates star to leave camp amid his cooking row.

One I’m A Celeb fan posted: “Put Fred out now! He’s rooting for me.”

Another was furious: “I can’t stand this man. Vote for him!!!!!”

While a third wrote: “I don’t like Fred now, the way he put himself in the center of the conversation without even asking for other opinions and just nominated himself for the trial not realizing that Marvin wanted to do it too, and the criticism which is What I’ve been giving Josie is ridiculous, she’ll never learn things if she doesn’t make mistakes!!”

And a fourth viewer added: “Fred is sooooo boring. VOTE FOR FRED BY PLZZZZZZ.”
