Antara Motiwala is an Indian fashion stylist, primarily known for her work as a junior stylist at Conde Nast (CN) in Mumbai. She was born in a Gujarati family in Mumbai. Born in a movie city, her mother was a stylist, and fashion has always attracted her. She has dreamed of entering the Indian fashion industry since she was a child.

She was born into a Hindu-Gujarati family. Her father Tushar Motiwala is an entrepreneur and her brother Chitrang Motiwala is also an entrepreneur. Her mother Bhavana Motiwala used to be a fashion stylist. Inheriting her mother’s fashion sense, she determined the direction to take. She received her master’s degree in styling from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy.
After completing her studies, she worked at Vanity Fair Milan and Condé Nast International. While working at Conde Nast International, she had the opportunity to visit India and meet the editors of Vogue India, and her friends who worked at Vogue (India) suggested she go work at GQ India.
In 2008, Antara took into account the advice of her friends and tried her luck at “GQ India” (the Indian version of the American men’s monthly magazine “GQ”) and was selected as the “Fashion Editor” of “GQ”.
She later started working at Condé Nast India.
