Anthony Russo is an American director, producer and screenwriter. He is the older half of the Russo brothers, best known for creating four of the most acclaimed Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Anthony Russo Biography
Anthony Russo grew up in Cleveland, Ohio with his siblings Joe and Angela. Basil Russo, their father, was a former judge, and Patricia, their mother, was a homemaker. He graduated from the University of Iowa after attending Benedictine High School. Both brothers attended Case Western Reserve University. During their time at CWRU, they began their careers as a writing, directing and producing duo with “Pisces,” their first independent feature film.

Career
