Anu Kumari is 31 Years old (born on November 18, 1986), a girl from Sonepat, Haryana. After topping the UPSC Civil Services examination, she has become a source of inspiration for all IAS aspirants. Although she ranks second among top IAS contestants, she ranks first among female candidates. Despite being a working woman, wife and mother, she broke free from all roles and lived alone at her aunt’s house to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Anu received education from Shiva Shiksha Sadan (Sonepat). She received her B.A. She received her BA in Physics from Hindu College, Delhi University and MBA from IMT, Nagpur. She started her career with Aviva Life Insurance where she had 9 years of experience. In 2016, she quit her job to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
