Anwar ul Haq Kakar aka Anwaar ul Haq Kakar was born in 1971 (52 years old; as of 2023) in the Muslim Bagh area of ​​Killa Saifullah district, Balochistan, Pakistan. He completed his education at St. Francis Grammar School, Quetta. Later, he attended Cadet College in Kohat for his high school education. However, his father died and he returned to Quetta. Later, he pursued his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science and sociology from Balochistan University. He later moved to London to study for a law degree. However, he returned to Pakistan in 2005. After returning home, he began teaching to achieve financial stability and later entered politics.

Anwar ul Haq Kakar started his political career in 1999 and became a member of Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q). In 2008, he contested the national elections from Quetta constituency on the ticket of PML-Q constituency; however, he lost. He later joined the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and served as the spokesperson of the Balochistan government from 2015 to 2017.
