Apple TV+ brings the holiday spirit with a new program!
PEOPLE can exclusively reveal the streaming service’s festive lineup of kids and family programming in celebration of the upcoming holiday season.
In addition to holiday classics such as It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown ChristmasApple TV+ will also present a new original special called Velveteen rabbitbased on the classic children’s book by Margery Williams.

Hallmark Reveals Full 2023 Holiday Movie Schedule Starring Lacey Chabert, Phylicia Rashad and More
According to a press release, the 40-minute special will celebrate “the magic of unconditional love” and tell the story of seven-year-old boy William who gets a new favorite toy for Christmas. In his velvet rabbit, William will discover a “friend for life” and unlock a “world of magic”. The short episode will be a “hybrid” of live action and animation.
The special will feature an all-star cast including: Phoenix Laroche (William), Alex Lawther (Velvet Rabbit), Helena Bonham Carter (Wise Horse), Nicola Coughlan (Playhouse Fairy), Bethany Antonia (Bunny), Lois Chimimba (Car), Paterson Joseph (King), Clive Rowe (Lion), Nathaniel Parker (Rabbit Man), Tilly Vosburgh (Momo) and Samantha Colley (Mother).
The premiere of the new series will be on November 22.

Apple TV+ will also allow “special free windows” for non-subscribers to stream iconic holiday specials from the Peanuts universe.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will be available on the streamer from Saturday, October 21st through Sunday, October 22nd. Charlie Brown Thanksgiving available from Saturday, November 18 to Sunday, November 19 and A Charlie Brown Christmas will be available from Saturday, December 16th to Sunday, December 17th.

Snoopy decides to cook his own version of the Thanksgiving meal with the help of his friends.

Frog and toad Christmas Special, premiering Friday, December 1: In “Christmas Eve,” Toad and Toad look forward to spending the winter holidays together, but a last-minute commitment in town sidesteps Toad, leaving Toad to wonder if his best friend will come home on time. An original Apple TV+ series based on Arnold Lobel’s beloved book series, Frog and toad they are not at all similar. The frog loves new adventures. The toad likes the comfort of home. However, despite their differences, Toad and Toad are always there for each other – as best friends should be.
