Chhattisgarh NMMS Scholarship 2023

Chhattisgarh NMMS Scholarship 2023: National Merit-Based Scholarship Application Form (NMMS) has been released for 8th graders. Candidates with at least 55% marks in 7th grade are eligible to apply. To register, they can visit the official website: scert.cg.gov.in. According to the official schedule, the exam will be held on December 10, 2023.

The Chhattisgarh Means Cum Merit State Scholarship (NMMS) is awarded to outstanding students from the Economic Weaker Sections (EWS) who are in Grade 8 in the state. The scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students from EWS families to pursue higher education. The exam will be held at a total of 146 test centers across the country and there is no registration fee. The application deadline is September 8.

Chhattisgarh NMMS Scholarship 2023: Eligibility Criteria Check

Interested candidates can check below eligibility conditions:

  • He/she must study at a public or government school.
  • Must secure at least 55% marks in 7th grade.
  • He must come from a family with a gross annual income of less than 3.5 lakh rupees.
  • They must be in SC/ST in which case they will have to score at least 50% in the 7th criterion.

Applicants must have the following files scanned and available while completing the application form:

  • Grade 7 Scoreboard
  • Income certificate (no later than 31.03.2022)
  • Class certificate (if any)

Chhattisgarh Scholarship NMMS Exam Form 2023

The scholarship exam consists of two papers, the first one will last from 10 to 11:30 am, and the second one will be held from 1 to 2:30 pm

Students selected for the scholarship will receive Rs 1000 per month from grade 9 to grade 12. They will also be eligible for any other scholarship under the government scholarship scheme.

Students studying at Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, NGOs or boarding schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
