Aravind KP was born on Sunday, December 8, 1985, in Udupi, Karnataka (35 years old as of 2020). His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Arvind has been a motorcycle enthusiast since his childhood. When he was a child, he would often sneak out of the house on his father’s motorcycle and ride it through town before returning home safely. He developed an interest in motorcycle racing while he was studying in Class 10 and watched the Manipal Supercross race where TVS racers competed against Yamaha racers. Before, he had only watched motorcycle races on TV, and this was his first time watching it live. Witnessing this thrilling race live gave him the idea that he could be one of those racers. KP began his professional motorcycle racing career in 2006 by competing in national level motorcycle racing competitions. He was 19 years old at the time. That same year, TVS Motorcycles noticed him during the 2006 Gulf Dirt Track National Championship and signed him to compete in the upcoming racing series. This was not a paid contract; however, he was given the opportunity to play for free. As he honed his racing skills, TVS signed him on a three-year salaried contract, followed by a two-year extension. In 2011, he became the only Indian motorcycle racer to win an overseas motocross championship. In 2015, he participated in the Maruthi Suzuki Raid De Himalaya (2500 km) and won all the off-road races except the Sir.@Shyam Kothari racing event. In the 2016 OiLibya Rally in Morocco, he finished 25th. In 2019, he became the second Indian motorcyclist after CS Santosh (36th in 2016 Dakar Rally) to complete the Dakar Rally, an annual motorcycle race organized by Amaury Sports. car rally. The Dakar Rally is considered one of the toughest rallies in motorcycle racing.
