Ariana Grande Gives Nod to Boyfriend Ethan Slater with Inventive Christmas Decoration

Ariana Grande’s Christmas decorations include special love for boyfriend Ethan Slater.

On Thursday, the 30-year-old Grammy-winning singer shared a series of photos on Instagram, including one showing a Spam can ornament hanging from a wall-mounted Christmas tree made of green garland.

Of course, fans will know that the ornament is a cheer Spamalot2005 Tony Award-winning musical adaptation Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The comedy revival is currently on Broadway, with Slater, 31, starring in a variety of roles.

Grande was a visible supporter of the show, he goes to St. James Theater in New York to see Slater in the musical multiple times since rehearsals began in October. She was seen cheering him on during the show’s first Halloween premiere and attended the musical’s opening night on Broadway on November 15.

She also posted a series of selfies on her Instagram Story on Thursday taken while she and friends were sitting in the Spamalot audience.

Grande and Slater met on the set of the upcoming film adaptation Wickedand developed an off-screen romance.

The couple’s relationship, which PEOPLE first confirmed in July, began after her split from husband Dalton Gomez and Slater’s split from wife Lilly Jay. Grande and Gomez, 28, divorced in October after two years of marriage.

Both Grande and Slater share a love of musical theater. He made his Broadway debut in 2017, as the main character in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical. Grande also got her start on Broadway, with her first major credit in the short-lived Jason Robert Brown musical in 2008. 13.

While Grande was seen in Spamalot often, she and Slater have yet to make their red carpet debut.

And while there may be love between them off screen, it won’t be like that on the inside Wicked. In the musical, Slater portrays Boq, a Munchkin who falls in love with Glinda, played by Grande. Uninterested, she pawns him off for her sister Nessarose (Marissa Bode), much to his dismay.

The production of the film adaptation, which will be divided into two parts, was paused during the writers’ strike and only 10 days of shooting remained. However, the production hiatus does not seem to have affected the film’s release date. Wicked part 1 should arrive in theaters on November 27, 2024, doc 2nd part it will be released a year later, on November 26, 2025.

Meanwhile, elsewhere on Grande’s Instagram post on Thursday, the star shared a mirror selfie of herself in a black turtleneck mini dress, as well as a photo of a string of Christmas lights on the floor.

Other images included screenshots of a family Facetime call, which included her brother Frankie Grande and mother Joan Grande.

The artist shared too many different selfies with friends, before ending the post with a picture of two furry animals.
