Meeting Stevie Nicks was the stuff of “dreams” for Ariana Grande.
In a new interview on Las Culturistas podcast with Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, the “We Can’t Be Friends” singer, 31, opened up about meeting the Fleetwood Mac icon, 76, while Grande hosted Saturday night live October 12.
“She wrote me a letter a few years ago,” he said Wicked the star said of Nicks. “So we’ve talked once before, but we’ve never met.”
The Fire island actor, 34, who was on the set in SNL when Grande and the “Silver Springs” singer finally met, then insert to describe their meeting.

“Ari and I were already on the floor like giggling because we were stupid, and then they brought in Stevie, and I kind of knew right away that I had to back off,” Yang said.
Imitating Nicks, he continued, “Stevie took Arie’s hands and said, ‘I have to tell you, I loved your video for “We Can’t Be Friends.” He reminded me of so many people I’ve come across in my life. ‘”
Rogers (34) then added that the song “probably” reminds Nicks of Lindsey Buckingham.
The “7 Rings” hitmaker described meeting the “Landslide” performer as a “surreal moment.”

“I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t believe anything. She’s so sweet, so kind. And so cool and so beautiful. I can’t, I can’t really get over what it was like to spend those few days together and share space with her.” , Grande said. She added: “Such a warm, beautiful, good witch in every sense.”
Grande said at the time that Nicks was “overly generous” and “overly kind.”
“I like meeting people and talking, but sometimes I can go and overstay my welcome — I feel that. And I felt like I wasn’t doing that and she just wanted to get on with me,” she said.

During Grande’s second visit SNLshe gave a monologue full of impressions of the famous Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and Gwen Stefani. She also starred in funny sketches starring Jennifer Coolidge and Céline Dion.
That night, Nicks — who was the show’s musical guest — returned to the stage to perform her latest single, “The Lighthouse,” and later sang her 1981 song, “Edge of Seventeen.”
