Ariana Madix is hoping a judge will force her and her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval to move out of their Los Angeles home.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Friday, Madix and Sandoval disagree over the sale of the home they co-own and still live in several months after their March 2023 split.
Madix is reportedly hoping the court will rule that she and Sandoval must sell the house — which they bought together in 2019 — as a “partition sale,” meaning they will sell the house and split the proceeds.
Madix is also seeking an “equitable distribution of the sale proceeds,” according to court documents. This claim will include “payment of the debt secured by the same and the costs of partition,” as well as the inclusion of attorney’s fees and title costs.

The Vanderpump Rules star is reportedly opposed to a “division in kind” that would allow them both to retain ownership of the property, meaning one of them could theoretically sell their portion of the property to a third party, according to court documents.
On the August episode of Scheana Shay’s podcast ScheananigansMadix, 38, said she lived in the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home with Sandoval, 40.

As unconventional as the situation was, Madix said she had less anxiety living at home after the breakup than when they were in a relationship and worried about his whereabouts late at night.
“I sleep a lot easier at night, I don’t care when they walk in that door. … Yes, we’re in the same house, but I don’t have to think, ‘He’s coming into my bedroom’ — because he’s not,” she said. “I sleep with the door locked, just in case.”
