Arjun Ashoka made his debut with Orkut Oru Ormakoot (2012), directed by Manoj Vinod. His character Ganeshan plays a supporting role in a youth-centric story. The film did poorly commercially.

His next film Ambaadi (2014) was also a commercial failure. His career took a right turn when he essayed the role of Hakeem in Soubin Shaheer’s Parava (2017). The film and its cast received critical acclaim and became a commercial success.
