Batman better watch out — Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy join forces.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman have reunited and posed together for a new selfie, referencing their villainous characters from the 1997 film. Batman & Robin. “Freeze and Ivy, Reunited”, the Terminator the actor, 77, wrote on Instagram while sharing a photo on Saturday, September 14. “Watch out, Batman.”

Batman & Robin was not well received by critics — it currently has a 12 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The critical consensus from the film site reads: “Joel Schumacher’s tongue-in-cheek attitude reaches an unbearable limit in Batman & Robin resulting in a frantic and nonsensical film that’s too funny to care.”

However, the film was a star-studded affair, with George Clooney as Batman, Chris O’Donnell as Robin, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl and Michael Gough as Alfred Pennyworth.

Clooney (63) has been open about his distaste for the film. He even joked that he didn’t want his wife Amal Clooney to see it. “There are certain movies that I just watch, ‘I want my wife to have some respect for me,'” he said in 2021.
Meanwhile, Danny DeVito (who played the Penguin in the second Batman film) is game to reprise his role alongside Schwarzenegger. “I don’t think it’s a bad idea because you have [Michael] Keaton, you have [Schwarzenegger]you have DeVito. We could make those same parts. Yeah, why not?” he told PEOPLE in April.

Earlier this year, another Batman The reunion took place at the 2024 Academy Awards. Schwarzenegger and DeVito, 79, presented the trophy for best visual effects at the ceremony in March.
“Arnold and I co-present, for a very obvious reason,” DeVito said at the time. “We both tried to kill Batman,” Schwarzenegger joked.
