I wanted to use my experience in publishing and digital marketing to help her as much as possible. Over the years, Savvy and I became best friends, so when we felt it was time to get married, we wouldn’t have considered anyone else as our partner. We are perfect life partners for each other. As a teenager, he started writing Hindi poetry and songs. Later, he wrote short stories. Later, he started writing poems and letters. In 2013, he published his first book, Love, Lose and Live.

In 2020, he published the book Dear Stranger, I Know How You Feel, a collection of 30 letters and poems written by Ashish, which was well received.

- In 2013, he was critically ill with tuberculosis. In an interview, he said of his illness,
It’s no exaggeration to say that this disease nearly ate me alive. The physical pain and medications also took a toll on my mental health. My immune system was severely compromised, I developed lumps in my neck, and I was coughing up blood. The medications my doctors prescribed were strong and my body didn’t want to take them. It took everything in me to stay on track. It took me two years to be able to say I was healthy, but it took another five years to be able to say I was cured.”
