Long ago, when my grandmother was not well, I was shooting for Bidaai in those days. I got a call saying she only had a few minutes left. My then on-screen father-in-law Alok ji convinced me to leave the shoot immediately and suggested me to meet her in the hospital. I immediately left the shoot and on the way to the hospital my executive producer called me multiple times to finish most of the scene so I didn’t realize I was turning around and going back to the shoot. A few minutes later I got a call saying my grandmother had passed away. I still feel guilty about that U-turn. “
