Ashley Graham Rocks Bold '70s-Inspired Dress (with Metallic Makeup!) to Strut the Vogue World: Paris Runway

Ashley Graham came to Paris to slay.

The 36-year-old supermodel nailed her look on the Vogue World: Paris catwalk at Place Vendôme on June 23 when she stepped out in a bold ’70s-style purple dress and matching bold eye makeup.

Graham’s dress featured a fitted knit bodice with an asymmetric neckline and a voluminous textured skirt that tapered at the ankles. She wore her hair slicked back and straight, and her makeup was simple, except for metallic eye shadow that decorated her lids.

For this year’s event, which paid tribute to the intersection of fashion and sports, the event took viewers through the decades as both said. Graham walked through the 1970s, which celebrated gymnastics – as well as a Battle of Versailles benefit night. The clothes paid homage to all of that and leaned towards Studio 54 and Le Palace.

“Whether I had kids or not, this would be a project I said ‘yes’ to,” Graham, an advocate for body positivity and inclusivity, told PEOPLE ahead of the book’s June 4 premiere.

Practicing affirmations is a big theme in the book and it’s something Graham teaches her children at home. “They’re these fearless little dinosaurs who don’t really know what life is all about [but] we make them say things out loud, like ‘I’m healed, I’m strong, I’m smart and I’m kind,’” she said.
