Ashley Graham started the new year off on the wrong foot.
In a series of Snapchat posts, the 37-year-old model revealed that she sprained her foot while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with her husband Justin Ervin, their three children and a few friends. Ervin turned 44 on Tuesday, December 31.
“So I went to the ER last night and got this boot. Look at my toe hanging out. It’s not broken. It’s just a sprain,” she said in clips released Thursday, Jan. 2.

While showing the cottage, Graham explained that the fence was raised because there were four children staying in the house.
“So I got these boots because I thought I’d lost my baby in the pool, so I was frantically looking, but they were fine. It’s okay, mom flight mode,” she said.

As she took a closer look at the boot for her foot, Graham said that Ervin went to the airport with their children and a nanny as they headed to New York, and she went to Los Angeles, where she was supposed to host the Women’s daily wear live broadcast from the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
Before kicking her leg up on the couch to rest, she shared another health update while posing in front of a floor-length mirror.
“Boots chic,” Graham said. “I walked on it this morning. I couldn’t walk on it last night, but I walked on it this morning, and it’s fine. I think I just sprained it really bad. So stupid.”

In an interview with WWDGraham opened up about what she looks forward to most about interviewing celebrities at the Golden Globes.
“I know what it’s like when you’re getting ready, with nerves and photos, and you just want someone who will be a little disarming, who will just have a light, fun conversation where you can be yourself and vice versa, she said.
