Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Step Out for Date Night Weeks After Danny Masterson Controversy

On Wednesday night, Kutcher, 45, and Kunis, 40, were photographed walking hand-in-hand after a date night at Largo Comedy Club in the West Hollywood area.

Kunis was seen in an olive green jumpsuit and white sneakers, while Kutcher, her husband since 2015, wore a brown coat, a dark baseball cap, blue jeans and a bright green T-shirt with the logo of the Lucky Charms cereal brand.

The couple, who share daughter Wyatt Isabelle, 8, and son Dimitri Portwood, 6, recently made headlines after taking to Instagram to talk about the controversial letters of support they wrote to their ex That 70s show cast member Danny Masterson. Masterson, 47, was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for two counts of rape for which he was found guilty in May.

“We are aware of the pain caused by the letters we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson,” Kutcher said in the video, while Kunis said they “support the victims and will continue to do so in the future.”

Kutcher also stepped down from the board of Thorn, the anti-sexual assault organization he founded in 2009 with ex-wife Demi Moore, in light of backlash to his and Kunis’ letters of support for Masterson amid his sentencing.

Kutcher and Kunis first met in 1998 while filming That 70s show when they started playing the series’ mainstays, Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart. Their characters dated on and off over the eight seasons of the Fox sitcom. As such, they shared their first kiss while filming the show — which Kunis told PEOPLE was her first kiss ever — years before they actually started dating.

The couple began dating in 2012 following Kutcher’s 2011 divorce from Moore; Kunis had split from her then-boyfriend Macauley Culkin earlier that year.

“We were just like, let’s just hook up. Let’s go have fun. We’re both single. We both trust each other. Everything’s great,” Kunis recalled of their early relationship during an appearance on the show in 2018. WTF with Marc Maron podcast.

PEOPLE confirmed that the couple became engaged in early 2014. Kunis and Kutcher welcomed their daughter, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, later that year, then tied the knot in a private ceremony in July 2015.

Kutcher and Kunis later welcomed their second child, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher, into the family in 2016. Kutcher most recently starred with Reese Witherspoon in this year’s romantic comedy Your place or minewhile Kunis last appeared in 2022 Happiest girl in the world.
