In the same year, Ashu was selected by Lucknow Kabaddi team “UP Yoddhas” and made his Pro Kabaddi League debut in Pro Kabaddi League Season 7. He had 89 total tackles and averaged 72.3% of his playing time. The following year, Ashu Singh represented his hometown Kabaddi team in the 67th National Senior Kabaddi Championship held in Jaipur. The Uttar Pradesh team won the bronze medal in the final. In 2021, he was retained by the ‘UP Yoddhas’ team for the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8, where Ashu scored 99 tackles at an average of 86.19% of the playing time.
