After interning at various companies, Atulya joined Google in 2015 as a Software Development Engineer (SDE). Atulya joined Instamojo in 2016 as Head of Partners and Alliances. While working at a startup, he saw the company’s workforce shrink by nearly 50% due to a cash crunch, sparking ongoing concerns about his job security. Atulia’s entrepreneurial spirit was reignited but with new clarity and vision for the future as he reflected on being the highest-paid graduate in his class but still feeling uncertain about his job security. In July 2017, Atulya invested 99 rupees (approximately US$1.21) to purchase the domain name “prepinsta.com”. Notably, this is the only expense the company has incurred so far. Interestingly, PrepInsta even generated revenue on its first day of operation. Atulya later invited his friends Aashay Mishra and Manish Agarwal to join him as co-founders of PrepInsta. What started as a passion project soon turned into a viable business opportunity, prompting the trio to quit their full-time jobs and set up an office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for their startup. From the beginning, Atulia has been unwavering in her commitment to educating and empowering India’s youth so that they can secure well-paying jobs in the companies of their choice by leveraging the best resources at affordable prices. To realize his vision, Atulya and his team launched PrepInsta Prime on July 7, 2021, the first OTT platform dedicated to internships and upskilling. PrepInsta Prime dramatically increases user engagement by providing a user-friendly platform similar to popular streaming services. To date, the company has helped numerous graduates land coveted positions in their desired companies. Shockingly, this company was founded with an investment of only INR 99 Cr, and as of March 2023, its net worth has reached INR 200 Cr.
