She started her career as a model and did various modeling jobs for nearly six months at the beginning of her career. She has modeled for famous brands such as Puma, Vivaaha Silk and Femina.
She also worked with the famous Indian actor Kamal Hassan for the saree brand Pothys and with Mahesh Babu for Chennai Silk. She then met Indian director Neelakanta and within ten minutes of meeting her, she was chosen to star in the Telugu film Maaya (2014), in which she played the role of Meghana. She has starred in many Telugu films such as Meeku Meere Maaku Meme (2016), Meeku Maathrame Cheptha (2019) and Bheeshma (2020).
She made her Tamil debut in the film Nenjamellam Kadhal in 2021. As of 2021, she is working on an untitled Tamil film.

I was a nerd but also played sports. I was more of a tomboy and modeling was not my thing. My friends told me that I was tall enough to try out for movies. I started modeling when I was a sophomore in college. I modeled and took it as a part-time job. I wanted to make money while I was young, so modeling was just a short-term plan for me. Initially, when I went to meet him, he thought I was too modern for the role. But suddenly, my production designer drew a big “bindi” on my forehead and he felt he had found his role. ”
- In an interview, she talked about her parents’ reaction to her starting an acting career. She said,
Initially, my parents were not happy with my decision. I had never planned to do films because when I started modeling, I wanted to participate in beauty pageants.
