AXED Emmerdale actor Sam Hall has finally confirmed his departure in the final scene of Samson Dingle’s broadcast.
The actor – who played troubled Samson in the ITV soap – shared an emotional greeting with fans after his exit scenes played out.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Sam was kicked out of Samson earlier this year.
Viewers watched last night as Samson was sentenced to four years in prison for the violent attack on robber Josh.
In a video on the soap’s Instagram page, Sam said: “So, as you’ve seen, Samson has now left the village.
“It’s been a great story, so I’d like to thank everyone who’s been with me, cast and crew, over the last 15 years.
“And we hope to see Samson again. See you later.”
Sam’s final scenes as Samson were shown last night when his father Sam said a brief goodbye in court before being taken to prison.
“I’m really sorry I let you down dad, I was a stupid son, wasn’t I?” he told his dad in prison.
Sam tried to reassure him, telling him he was proud of him, but added, “I just wish you wouldn’t be gone so long.
“If you put your head down, you could be out in two years for good behavior.”
He encouraged his son to take any opportunity to train behind bars so he could get a job when it came.

“I have to go, dad,” Samson said as he hugged his dad one last time goodbye.
However, fans were left furious at the outing, taking to social media to condemn him.
One wrote: “It was such a poor exit for Sam after all his years in Emmerdale.
“They should have let him and Amelia travel with Esther, after all she doesn’t really have a story so I can’t understand why her, Noah or Sarah are still in it.
“Love Emmerdale but really bad decision.”
