Babita Kapoor

Babita Kapoor is an Indian former actress, the niece of the famous Indian actress “Sardana Shivdasani” and the daughter of actor Hari Shivdasani. She made her acting debut in the 1966 drama film Dus Lakh. She rose to fame after starring in the romantic thriller Raaz in 1967 with Rajesh Khanna.

Babita Shivdasani Kapoor was born on Sunday, April 20, 1947, in Karachi, British India (now Pakistan) (age 76; as of 2023). Later, Babita and her family moved to Mumbai, where her cousin Sadhana Shivdasni encouraged her to pursue an acting career.

Babita married her long-time co-star actor Randhir Kapoor in a grand ceremony on November 6, 1971. They have two daughters, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, both actors.
