Baby, 1, and Woman Killed in Allentown, Pa. Shooting, Authorities Say 

Authorities have launched a homicide investigation after a 1-year-old boy and a 44-year-old woman died from injuries sustained in a shooting in Allentown, Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement posted to Facebook on Saturday.

A third victim, a 66-year-old man, also suffered life-threatening injuries but was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, the release said.

On Friday evening at 8:42 p.m., the police went to the scene of the incident in Ulica kestenova.

A 6-month-old baby died in an accident in Chicago while being transported to the hospital

“Both victims have been identified and their families notified. However, due to these tragic circumstances, I am not releasing their identities at this time, allowing the families to grieve privately,” Allentown Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release. according to NBC 10 Philadelphia, “I personally want to offer my prayers and condolences to the families, friends and anyone affected by this incident.”

Two separate shooting incidents occurred in Allentown between Friday night and Saturday morning, according to ABC News, NBC 10 and local Lehigh Valley news outlet The Morning Call. A total of six people were injured and two died. So far, the incidents are not believed to be related.
