Baby Archie News

Another era came to an end in March 2020, when Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan formally retired from their positions as senior members of the royal family. While we’re used to seeing the three children of Prince William and Princess Catherine on a daily basis, albeit in brief glances, Archie, the son of Harry and Meghan, would now be shielded from the continual glare of a camera.

With the exception of two occasions in 2020, we saw the young royal only twice. The first was on his birthday in May when the Duke and Duchess released a sweet storytime video, and the second was in the Sussexes’ Christmas card in December. In 2021, we got to see a few more infrequent pictures, including some home video that was shown in Oprah Winfrey’s shocking interview with Harry and Meghan.

We saw more of Archie and his sister Lilibet in the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, as well as at the end of 2022. On December 8, 2022, the first volume of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive Netflix documentary was made available to the public. It featured the adorable family enjoying Archie’s first birthday.

Archie was born on May 6th, 2019 in the UK. On May 6, his grandpa, King Charles, will formally become the next monarch, so his birthday isn’t the only significant event to be commemorated.

The young royal, who will live in his Montecito house with Meghan and Princess Lilibet, will not, however, attend the coronation. Prince Harry will be present for the coronation, meantime.

The royal family has not yet acknowledged the celebration on Archie’s fourth birthday as they start the coronation ritual. But Meghan’s longtime friend and photographer Misan Harriman took to social media to wish Archie a happy birthday.

“Wishing you the happiest of birthdays Archie,” they tweeted alongside a photo of a little Archie clutching at a portrait of Princess Diana.

The majority of Archie’s childhood has been spent in the country, and in the “intimate” documentary, he was seen cradled in his mother’s arms while carrying an American flag. Sadly, there was a lot of speculation about Archie’s “mixed race” parents.

The father of two was quoted in the programme as saying, “My son, my daughter, and my children are mixed race and I’m really proud of that.” “I want to be able to respond when my kids are adults and ask me, “What did you do in this moment?” as they reflect back on this time in their lives.
